The Timbiri Savings and Credit Cooperative is changing lives in Nkhata Bay through financial inclusion and access to solar technologies. Recently, this community bank recruited a new ‘Member Service Officer’. We thought it appropriate to formally introduce him to all our supporters.
“My name is Solister Mhango, Member Service Officer and I am 26 years old. I originally come from Karonga District. I  hold a Diploma in Financial Accounting from the Malawi College of Accountancy. I am a confident, flexible and passionate young man and I am committed to working alongside the people of Mpamba with integrity”Solister’s role involves engaging current and potential new members of the bank in order to educate them on the services provided and to promote a culture of saving within this region. This is vital work as the bank looks to reach 500 members by the end of the year. We are thrilled to have him join the team!
Solister has hit the ground running, he’s meeting with residents of Mpamba.
